Chris Thomas has had a multi facetted career working in the financial services sector both in the UK and South Africa. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

He has amassed considerable knowledge from his work in the areas of sales, account management, marketing and other customer facing roles, before deciding to specialise in HR.

In 2003 he was a Director member of a MBO team who, with the support of private equity providers, purchased the healthcare and assistance business of Royal & Sun Alliance and formed the First Assist Group. He left this business early in 2007 following its successful de-merger. It’s this kind of invaluable experience which Chris draws on in his work with clients.

He has a comprehensive understanding of what drives business performance and a keen sense of how HRM can contribute to wealth generation. He has had considerable exposure to a broad spectrum of HRM challenges in the corporate and SME sector.
