Many workplace disputes between employees relate to a breakdown of communication or working relationships. Often, this situation is very difficult for an employer to solve as most formal grievance and disciplinary procedures do not make provision for a mediated approach.
Our extensive experience is that mediation works well and does restore working relationships thereby saving an employer the difficulty and inconvenience of having to move an employee or worse still, exit them from the organisation. It is also fairly quick, and, on successful conclusion, sees all parties enter into a written agreement clearly mapping out the way forward.
When an incident arises, we will send an independent, highly trained and experienced mediator who will work with all involved to get to a workable solution. Our experience is that typically, a conclusion is reached within one or two days.
