Andy Cook has over 10 years experience in senior Human Resources positions, working in both the private and public sectors. He has worked at board level in large, complex organisations and has led major change and restructuring programmes.

He founded Marshall-James in 2006, an Employee Relations Advisory firm based in the UK; specialising in the unique areas of Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and Employee Communications.

Andy is in the rare position of having worked as a union officer prior to his career in HR, which have given him superb grounding for his pioneering work at Marshall-James. He was appointed HR Director at the British Library, Head of Human Resources and Employee Relations with Transport for London, and HR Director (UK and Ireland) with Gate Gourmet. His extensive, expert knowledge has benefitted many household names and organisations in both the public and private sectors.

Andy and his team of full time advisors have grown Marshall-James into a market leader. The company has become the first port of call for many organisations who need advice, guidance and resources. Marshall-James also offer a full programme of training and development workshops to HR and business professionals working in Employee Relations.

Andy continues to work with a diverse group of clients both nationally and globally. He regularly contributes on HR matters in the media and at conferences; writing articles for both the HR community and the wider business audience.
