Susan Popoola combines a strong academic track record with more than 15 years practical experience working across a range of HR disciplines including employee relations and internal communications. Susan specialises in conducting professional investigations into grievance and disciplinary matters on behalf of a wide portfolio of clients as well as auditing and changing employment policies and procedures to reflect best practise.
She also has a comprehensive understanding of new HR technologies and is experienced in developing and tailoring HR information systems particularly in support of modern business partnering structures.
Susan has worked with clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors, including News International, The Department of Health and the London Fire Service. Susan is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and the International Association for Human Resource Information (IHRIM). She has a first degree in Political Science and a Masters in HR strategy and Change.
As well as her work with Marshall-James, Susan is a published author and is currently working on her second book, dealing with talent and diversity in the workplace and in society at large.
