The old adage - 'necessity is the mother of invention' - was never more apt than in the case of Marshall-James. We were founded in 2006 by managing director, Andy Cook (at the time, a successful HR director) who was growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of high-quality external consultancy services available, specifically in the area of employee relations.

When it became apparent that to find such a consultancy firm, he would have to create one himself, that is exactly what he did. Marshall-James was built around the philosophy of 'Making employee relations work' and today, our consultants work successfully with many major private and public sector organisations around the globe, bringing that philosophy to life. We provide a variety of services to our clients, all with the sole aim of developing and maintaining great employee relations within their organisation.
